Wanda is a graduate of the University of Georgia.  She and her husband Mark and sons moved to Warner Robins thirteen years ago from Maryland.  A former classroom teacher, Wanda homeschooled one or both of her sons for fifteen years.  She taught various children’s choirs for many years and currently serves as assistant director for the King’s Kids Khoir at First Baptist Church of Warner Robins.

Additional activities include Homeschool Chorus Coordinator and singing in the Sanctuary Choir and Praise Team. Wanda has directed several children’s musicals including Down By the Creek Bank and Life School Musical.  She performed in several other musicals, including Annie Get Your Gun, Don’t Give Up, Smoke on the Mountain, The Gospel According to Scrooge and It’s a Wonderful Life.

Sweet Adelines has been an exciting hobby for Wanda since 1996.  She serves as Director and lead section leader with Sweet Georgia Sound Show Chorus as well as sings tenor in the Ja-Da Quartet.  She has contributed to the chorus through script writing and MCing as well as serving on the Board of Directors as Secretary.
